DuChamp “The Wild Joy” record release
Some albums possess the richness to dissolve genre boundaries, leaving the listener in a delicate state of suspended balance. The new album by Berlin-based artist DuChamp is a journey of development, research, and refinement of a deeply personal voice—one rooted in experimentation and a profound connection with sound itself. It pushes the boundaries of drone music through an ambiguous interplay of lush melodies and deep frequencies.
DuChamp is an Italian scientist, musician and curator based in Berlin, religiously devoted to drone. Her debut album “NAR” has been released in 2013 through the italian cult label Boring Machines. In 2015 the split “Sculpture” with French sound artist Felicia Atkinson was released through Idiosyncratics. In 2016 and 2017 Full Body Massage records released that tapes “Nectere” and the following year “A Blazing World”. Her new album “The Wild Joy” will be released in 2025 by Torto Editions, Ramble Records and Atena Records.

Tatsumi Ryusui: Tatsumi Ryusui (JP/DE) is a Japanese-born, Berlin based experimental / noise / ambient sound artist. He processes several proper, accidental or self-build instruments to generate delicate, yet powerful and astonishing ambient textures that connect drone with the cathartic side of noise.

Mineo Kawasaki Drummer and composer mineo kawasaki from Japan builds electronic soundscapes with both live drums and a MIDI controller. The solo project employs vinyl sampling infused with elements of house, techno and experimental music to carve tracks that work well both on the headphones and the dance floor.
In 2024, he toured Canada/Iceland and participate in several label’s compilation.

Frank creates a unique soundscape in the transition from noise to music.
He has arranged his improv set with hints of melodies, sporadic rhythms, and sound structures formed by a variety of analog sound samples. These are integrated into the digital signals of a no-input mixer. Another element is a modified resonator guitar. Driven by a motor, a coil, and a closed circuit, its strings are set into permanent vibration, generating an endless sustain. This results in a radical transformation of both the sound and the handling of the instrument.
